Til the Cows Come Home

My husband and I rented a car to tour the island while we stayed a week in Barbados. The country is lush, green, and filled with sights to paint. While we wound our way through the hills and back roads we had to come to a screeching halt. There before us were these very cows. I was thrilled and jumped out of the car with of course my ever-ready camera. Totally delightful, a moment I won’t forget. This painting recently won first prize in oils and overall “People’s Choice Award” in a Norwood Art Association event much to my utter happiness.
