Sunset on the Bay, Cape Cod

We are fortunate to have friends that live on the Oyster River in Chatham, a quaint little seaside town on old cape cod. I have sat on their deck so many times soaking in this view. We have gone out on kayaks and had the view from the river. This particular day we walked the few steps to this little, historical fishing shack of which there are three. As I stood there I imagined the many years of fisherman that have loaded their boats with their day’s bounty and feeling grateful for them since I adore eating great fish dinners in the restaurants in town. So here’s to the fisherman and fisherwoman who work so hard for us all.
