Edgartown Lighthouse

This little lighthouse is very special to me because while on the island of Martha’s Vineyard 37 years ago my then boyfriend proposed to me in a restaurant while we sat at a piano bar having dinner.  He actually got down on one knee right there in the middle of the restaurant!  The next day we went to this little lighthouse because we had signed up for a short class in windsurfing.  haha it was the shortest lesson of all time I am sure since I could not manage to get the sail up at all.  Years later with three of our grown children, daughter in law, son in law and three grandkids we went back to see how it was fairing.  It stood proudly and winked at me.
