I was asked by a good friend to paint a vacation photo for her husband’s birthday.
Yikes, what!! This is a woman who knows her art and has displayed in her home some of the most beautiful
paintings. Not one to back down from a challenge, I set off to give it a try. I have found out that
I really love the challenge that commissions come with. But most of all I really feel the honor so I take it
very seriously; that someone has trusted me enough to let me interpret a photo and give it life.
