Summer on the Pond

It was a hot, breezy summer day when I was out on the pond on my standup paddle board.  As I glided into the sand I saw this beautiful sailboat with the two kids.  Now, truth be told,  I am not really steady on the board but I do have a passion for capturing the moment.  I grabbed my phone/camera which was held around my neck on one of those plastic see through envelopes.  I tried to steady myself to get the shot. The board hit the sand and I went flying but in the process pressed the button and voila this painting was born.
